I ordered one back in March when we started to work from home, it just arrived this week!
One feature I like the most is that it can do background noise cancelling.

For those who cares about video and sound quality, even this age old C270 is far better that those built-ins in top MacBook or Thinkpad. However, spend a little more and buy a newer version like C920 or C930.

I have this, it's pretty crappy printer. Yeah the refillable ink concept is great, but the print head often become dirty and need to be deep cleaned, around every 3 months or so, the process which expends 1/4 of the ink each time, also the waste ink goes to a "maintenance box" that needs to be replaced with a new one.

You don't have to pay to use Windows. Anyone can download the installer and install it. You lose features, but it is still free. Most people get Windows included free with purchased machines. Disabling intrusive data collection is very simple. Cope. //@anonymous: because you don't have to pay to use it. //@Anonymous: Why would anyone use Linux
2 years ago |
Anonymous
True. Mine kept blocking the ink if I don't use it often. The color becomes pink so I have to do power cleaning which wastes a lot of ink. This printer starts having issues after 1.5 years. Old HP printers lasted longer than 5 years+ //@Anonymous: need to often print to prevent ink from drying so that block the printer's head. //@Anonymous: I have this, it's pretty crappy printer. Setup a free KMS server(open sourced, you can run it in docker), and activate your copy of Windows with M$ purposely 'leaked' volume keys, you get a full functioning Windows for free(need to reactivate it automatically against the KMS server every 120 days). Don't feel guilty, you trade your privacy with the free use (as long as you don't use it for commercial purpose), M$ knows it, and allows it. M$ wants your big data.

Zoom normally only supports 720P. HD video (1080p) will only be activated for selective use cases such as large format broadcast events. //@anonymous: Does this one has digital zoom? I need one with either optical zoom (not likely on this one) or digital zoom.

Most of Youtube channels are 720P for HD and nature support of 720P is already called HD projectors for up to 100” screens. There is no practical use for 1080 CAM. Even Zoom only supports 720P with high selective cases for 1080p (event broadcasts).

Good reasoning, but the difference between 720 and 1080 is big and real--speaking from experience here. //@anonymous: Most of Youtube channels are 720P for HD and nature support of 720P is already called HD projectors for up to 100” screens. Samsung recently subtly changed the parts of the 970 EVOs, and as such performance took a small but noticeable hit. Anyone interested should pay close attention to which version they are getting, as the new model does have a new SKU.

Now is half a penny per 100M. Will be quarter a penny per 100M by the end of 2023. CPU and memory demand will continue to fall as cypto mining dies down. Forget about AI because there is no such thing. ChatGPT is a fluke as there is no true AI advantage since Deep Blue. Whatever they call AI today is no more than "Automation + Big Data" but calling that AI is total bullshit. https://www.newyorker.com/science/annals-of-artificial-intelligence/there-is-no-ai //@anonymous: I doubt that, given the situation of chip shortage and widespread inflation. //@Anonymous: Crypto ice age coming.
