I took another chance with this seller and bought the Lewis Hamilton helmet set from them. and guess what? the box was opened and taped back together, and one of the bags inside was open. I couldn't tell if anything was missing until I almost finished the build. and sure enough the minifigure is missing... messaged the seller hope I can get my money back

Yes, it has gotten more expensive but they continue to be popular. With the pandemic, more people are at home so this is something that they can do with their kids (or even for their own sanity). Supply and demand. We own this set, and it is amazing in both construction and detail. Many LEGO sets cost around 10 cents per piece… this set is now around half that cost. Absolutely a deal.
