I change my own oil not because of the cost savings. I do it for the time savings. Going to a reliable shop to change oil takes too much time. Check the chemical content and you will know what you are talking about....educate yourself in chemistry, regulation standards of the oil industry. Its like the pharmacy, you can go with the store brand or with a branded pill with the same active content for more $$$. //@Anonymous: All synthetic oil are not created equal. I've got one of these and in my opinion it's a piece of crap. I literally have to charge it every week and when I called Stanley they told me to charge it for at least 24 hours once a week, even though I don't use the thing.
